Question 2) How effective is the combination of your main and ancillary texts
My Three Tasks:
1. Create a teaser trailer : This could be how long or short I wanted and about anything
2. Create a promotional poster : This had to advertise the poster by including what I saw fit
3. Create a promotional website : This has to be another form of media in order to promote my film
When achieving continuity between my products, the only error I ran into was putting the title 'Dispatch' from my poster, onto my website to create complete continuity. Other than this I used images for the poster that featured places in my trailer, and featured a merge of images on my website which were included in both my trailer and my poster.
Physical Similarities
There are tons of action and adventure films out there, all with their main leads protecting something or someone, but across all these they always maintain continuity. When creating my trailer, I realised the whole trailer was extremely dark and didn't feature much natural bright light. I decided to theme my website around this by giving it a dark background and using the contrast of white text on a black background in order to make it stand out. I also incorporated this into my poster by putting 'Dispatch' in black against a bright sky line. The Jason Borne website is very similar in the colour design and simplicity, using contrasting colours as well as having simple pages which have near to no text and don't confuse the viewer.

Product Potential
Production Value : I don't believe that my product has much potential in being a real media product. To begin with its hardly original, there are plenty of other films which feature action and parkour, carrying a secret item, while running from the bad guys. My production value and props wasn't very professional either, with my lack of acting skills and actors I was forced to take out any real acting from my trailer, and I was able to mess the house up, but not enough to look trashed rather than 'disrupted'
Online Exhibition : Online exhibition is always easy to set up, the hard part is getting viewers and people to feedback on your video. With my low production rate not many people, other than close friends and family, would be interested on watching my trailer
Offline Exhibition : To be featured at somewhere like a film festival would be highly unlikely, there are other more unique and professional films that they would be more likely to pick over mine
