Starting off with the most common, and important character to a film Noir, the Everyman tends to be the main protagonist in which the whole film is cenetered around.

We decided to stick with the Archetypal Chartacter, so the Everyman has a black suit and fedora. This was common back in the 1950's. Also having all these items and their own office showed that the Everyman was a very middle class, since having a job was good, yet he wasnt working at home or in a massive office with all the space he needs

We decided to keep him as close to the conventional Noir, small office, black suit, fedora and smoking; which also creates a smokey atmosphere. One difference in his appearence is that he has long swept hair, yet in traditional Noir the Everyman would have had short, well styled hair. This isn't too important  because he still acts the same way.  Since our target audience prodominatly white males, around the age of 55 and up. The whole presentation of the Everyman, and his day to day life and job, makes him very relatable to the viewer

A different path we did take, was that instead of the Everyman being killed, getting put in prison, or being taken in by the Girl Next Door. We decided to end it on a cliffhanger so that you don't know if he is going to be killed, or sent to jail. Another positive of keeping the Everyman from going to jail, so if the viewer feels attatched or similer to the Everyman. If the Everyman always gets caught, the story gives off an impression that the Everyman will never suceed and the viewers might feel down about this and stop watching

THE EVERYMAN

Our Femme Fatale was played by Greg's griflriend Kira. Although she appeared for only a few seconds of the opening, there is still alot around her. Where as in most typical Noir films the Femma Fatale appears alot, we kept her quite uknown and mysterious. This lef tthe imagination to the viewer. When the Everyman is narrating, he is always talking about her and she is talked about more than she appears.

In our opening you only say the top half of her, so we stuck to traditional Noir and made her wear a dress posh looking dress. This was to fit her in with the time period and conventional Noir. But it also helped by giving are more seductive image towards the Everyman.

Genrally the Femme Fatale can either have a happy ending, that being her getting away with the money or tjhe Everyman. Yet is some circumstances she can be killed at the end from being caught by the villain.

For us, we left that bit unfilled, so that you don't know weather or not the Femme Fatale has been killed or not. And although this may not be conventional Noir, this could suit a wider and younger audience who want a mystery at the end. Or atleast them have some interaction in accessing whether she is dead or not.
